Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you access our website, enroll in our courses, or use our services. By using our platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, contact details, billing information, and any details you voluntarily provide when registering for classes or subscribing to our programs. This information is used to deliver our services, process payments, communicate important updates, improve user experience, and provide personalized wellness recommendations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to safeguard your information, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, and no longer. Concretely:
- Account data — name, e-mail address, phone number, postal address, profile photo and bio — kept for as long as your account is open. Erased as soon as you delete your account.
- Learning data — course enrolments, lesson progress, quiz attempts — kept for as long as your account is open, so you can resume where you left off. Erased when you delete your account.
- Purchase and invoice records — kept for 8 years after the transaction, because tax and accounting law requires it. When you delete your account these records are unlinked from your name and e-mail address, so they can no longer identify you.
- Issued certificates — kept indefinitely so that anyone you shared a certificate with can still verify it.
- Server and security logs — kept for 90 days, then automatically purged.
- Support messages — kept for 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Push-notification registrations — kept until you turn notifications off, sign out, or delete your account.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and the personal data attached to it at any time. There are three ways to do it:
- In the mobile app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Confirm with your password and the deletion runs immediately.
- On the web: use our account deletion page, which works even if you have already uninstalled the app.
- By e-mail: write to info@mbsguru.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
In-app deletions take effect immediately. Requests made by web form or e-mail are completed within 30 days, and we e-mail you when the account has been deleted. The only data that survives is the anonymised financial and certificate records listed under Data retention above; everything that identifies you is erased.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. You will lose access to any courses you purchased, along with your progress.
